Regular training, practices, Academy & Soccer Saturdays have now resumed.
We expect to be back at Den Duyf Park Field in mid-May.

Wecome Mark Freeman to the PYSA in the role of Technical Director.
For those who have had players in our PYSA Academy last fall and this spring, you would have seen Mark working with young players on Monday evenings.
Mark’s main role is to support and mentor our dedicated volunteer coaches with session plans and inputs to increase the fun, learning and skill development of our young players.
Mark brings a C License to the role, along with many years of experience in coaching a diversity of age groups.
He is excited to help us animate soccer in Pemberton with the new facilities coming on-line that will bolster visibility of the sport.

PYSA is awaiting bursary applications to be awarded this spring.
In an effort to be more inclusive, PYSA has extended the eligibility to allow for PYSA alumni who attend Whistler Secondary, Whistler Waldorf & Xet̓ólacw for those graduating high school this year.
PYSA will be awarding up to 3 $500 bursaries.

This very successful winter session has now finished.
Thanks to Signal Hill, Coaches, players & parents for respecting the facility & the health & safety requirements.
PYSA is fully confident that these players will be noticeably improved when they hit the pitch again in April!
The PYSA 2021 AGM was held on September 21st via Zoom.
PYSA would like to thank longtime Coach, Board member, President & Treasurer Alan Firth for his years of service.
Alan was instrumental in leading PYSA over the last number of years to an healthy financial position, while providing great value in keeping youth soccer affordable & accessible.
Under Alans leadership, PYSA made strides in Coach/Player development & curriculum that we still use today!
Alan's final accomplishment was facilitating our updated Strategic Plan this past winter/spring.
PYSA would also like to thank Frances Dickenson for her years of service as a Coach of U12/13 Boys & as a board member.
We hope to see you both out at the fields some day even if on the sidelines!

PYSA is hopeful for a full return to regular soccer with now restrictions soon.
Currently in Step 3, we could see a move to Step 4 in September.
Safety is our first priority, so we follow the direction & guidance given to us by Via Sport, BC Soccer, The Village of Pemberton & Vancouver Coastal Health.
